A Sheffield Song Book Music by Richard Chew and words by Berlie Doherty
Commissioned by Sheffield Young Singers in 2008, A Sheffield Song Book is a celebration of why Sheffield is a great place to live. Funny and moving by turns, the suite of six songs gives a child’s eye view of the playgrounds, museums, football teams, rivers and industrial heritage of our City and the World in our streets. Here, our Junior Singers will sing 3 of the songs supported by a few of our Young Singers, some of whom have been singing these songs for the last 9 years and still love them.
